MGK: Integrated research training group

The Integrated Research Training Group (MGK) provides a structured early-career support and optimal working conditions for the PhD students which are involved in the SFB-TRR 195. It offers a visible way of supporting the scientific independence and further qualification of doctoral researchers. We offer on a regular basis introductory lectures to the mathematical core areas of the SFB-TRR 195, with a particular emphasis on computational aspects. Further breadth as well as depth of the education is achieved by more advanced topics lectures, regular topics seminars and transregional MGK seminars, and by summer schools. We include the students in the planning and the organization of our transregional activities. Furthermore, we also encourage short term visits at collaborating and international locations.

This project is led by Gabriele Nebe and Moritz Weber.
