The SFB-TRR 195 offers a postdoc position at TU Kaiserslautern in the framework of the project
which will last until December 2024.
We are looking for a candidate with knowledge in algebraic geometry and computer skills, who will contribute to the mathematical and technical aspects of the project. On the mathematical side, the topics include resolution of singularities, automorphism groups and elliptic fibrations of K3 surfaces, and integration-by-parts Identities for Feynman integrals in high energy physics. On the technical side, the task is to help providing the software tools for the mathematical goals and to contribute to designing the algebraic geometry part of the evolving computer algebra system OSCAR.
People who are interested should contact one of the following persons (including a CV) by March 15th, 2021: Janko Böhm (firstname.lastname@example.org), Simon Brandhorst (email@example.com), Wolfram Decker (firstname.lastname@example.org), or Anne Frühbis-Krüger (email@example.com).
