The seminar will take place on December 12, 2025, in a hybrid format and is dedicated to practice giving mathematical research talks in a friendly setting.
Possible formats are:
– Twin talk: An introductory talk followed by a deep dive into a research topic. This would for example be a good format to present content from your PhD thesis
– Paper presentation: A summary of an exciting paper that you discovered
– Problem session: You discuss a problem you are facing
– Mock defense: Practice your defense talk
