IRTG Seminar Winter Term 2023 – 2024


This semester, the IRTG seminar will take place twice at the locations Aachen and Kaiserslautern.

The first appointment will be on December 7, 2023 at RWTH Aachen

The second appointment will take place on January 26, 2024 at RPTU Kaiserslautern-Landau.

The main organizers are Tobias Braun and Diego Robayo Bargans.

First appointment at RWTH Aachen:

3:00 – 3:15 pm: Welcoming.

3:45 – 4:15 pm: Tobias Braun: A universal object for quadratic forms – What is a Clifford algebra?

4:15 4:45 pm: Break

4:45 – 5:30 pm: Jens Brandt: An Introduction to Julia and Oscar – Solving elementary algebraic exercises.

5:30 – 6:00 pm: Lars Goettgens/Jens Brandt: Julia/Oscar Q&A
