The Day of Mathematics is a major event held every two years by the Department of Mathematics at the TU Kaiserslautern. More than 1,500 mathematics-enthusiastic schoolchildren from local and national high schools were on campus on July 2nd.
The Collaborative Research Center SFB-TRR 195 also presented itself. Among other things, we showed our exhibition “Women of Mathematics throughout Europe meets SFB-TRR 195”, which is about female role models in mathematics. Moreover the SFB donated a prize for the popular competitions.
