From Monday, July 22nd, to Thursday, July 25th 2019, the Blockseminar on Tropical Geometry of the IRTG took place in the Neumühle close to Mettlach. In addition to two introductory lectures by Marvin Hahn and Andreas Gathmann, long group work sessions shaped the workshop. These culminated in presentation talks on Wednesday and Thursday. Of course there was also a trip – this time to the Saarschleife.
