Open-air parent-child room takes shape

On Saturday, June 8, 2024, the new climbing tower at the RPTU was ceremoniously opened. It is a cooperation project between the German Alpine Club (DAV) and the RPTU Kaiserslautern-Landau. Additionally a large children’s playground with a pump trail and climbing castle will be created. Together with the President of the RPTU in Kaiserslautern, Prof. Poetzsch-Heffter, the head of the Center for Sport, Health and Well-being, Max Sprenger, we put a 6-meter long wooden bench set (custom-made by the Annweiler State Forest) into operation. The bench is part of the open-air parent-child room concept that we support as SFB 195.
